Model of Fullrigger the Osmo

This is a model of famous sailing ship the Osmo. The Osmo was built in Rauma in 1869 and sailed the seas for over 50 years. There was a plan in the 1920’s and 1930’s to turn the Osmo into Finland’s first museum ship; this model was made as part of the museum project.
