1955: | In collision on 12 Nov. in fog with the German tug Widder (270/21) off Kåseberga on the Swedish south coast while on voyage from Karlskrona to London with timber. The leaky vessel with a big hole on the starboard side was abandoned by her crew that was picked up by a rescue boat. She, however, floated on her deck cargo and was beached. The salvage tug Karl managed to refloat her the following day and tow her to Ystad. |
