2.1920:

Completed by Stettiner Oderwerke A.G., Stettin (#666) as TILLY RUSS I for Ernst Russ, Hamburg.

1926:   

Went aground on 14 Apr. in ice pressure and stream in narrow Hycklösund, Barösund while on voyage from Hamburg via Hanko /Hangö to Helsinki /Helsingfors with general cargo, and sank after two hours at a depth of 24 metres.

1926:

Declared a constructive total loss and the wreck sold by the insurance company on 6 Aug. to J.W. Paulin, Viipuri /Wiborg.

1928:

After difficult and time-taking tightening refloated on 1 Sep. and towed by Paulin´s tug Stormking to Helsinki. Repaired by Hietalahden Sulkutelakka /Sandvikens Skeppsdocka and delivered in Feb. 1929 as BARÖSUND for J.W. Paulin, Viipuri (3170).

3.2.1941:

Home port changed to Turku /Åbo (1183), as Viipuri was surrended after the Winter War to the Soviet Union. J.W. Paulin had also moved his office to Turku.

17.12.1945:

Transferred to Paulins Rederi Ab Barösund, (Oliver Borg), Turku.

6.11.1952:

Manager changed to Frank Skibdahl.

5.3.1954:

Paulin´s companies merged into a new company called Paulins Rederi Ab.

10.5.1960:

Sold to Ilmari Tuuli, Helsinki, but registered at Rauma /Raumo (599) as SOMERI.

25.10.1961:

Renamed ILMATAR by Ilmari Tuuli to free the previous name for a new vessel named Someri (II) 3,546/42.

29.6.1962:

Sold to Martti Tamminen, Helsinki (1292) acting on behalf of a Swedish shipping company Rederi AB Segia, and renamed IRENE B. However, as a Swedish import license was refused, the sale was cancelled.

1.8.1962:

Returned to Ilmari Tuuli, Helsinki.

1962:

Sold to Helsingin Romuliike for demolition in Helsinki and arrived at Katajanokka scrapyard.

30.3.1963:

Sold, however, for further trading to Laivanisännistöyhtiö Ilmatar (Part Owners Ilmatar), managing owner Kauko Jyrkinen, (mgrs. Oy Thombrokers Ab, Helsinki).

1964:

Sold to Wihuri-Yhtymä Oy Teijon Tehtaat (Tykö Bruk) for demolition at Mathildedal.
