Artist Unto Kaski

After elementary school, Unto Kaski found work in Shipping Office Laine & Nordlund. He started to paint small portraits of ships in the harbour. He went to sea at the age of 16 on Rauma-built barquentine the Daphne. He worked on several Rauma-built ships, until becoming free artist after the war.
